The first time that I visited “Diavgia” was about 5 or 6 years ago, following the recommendations of some friends that already knew the Center. The reason behind my visit could be found in my wish to deal with the problem of low vision due to keratoconus that I had as well as the frequent eye infections from which I was suffering. I did laser surgery for myopia in April 2015 at Diavgia Ophthalmology Center. The procedure was done by Mr. Evripidis Vardavas. Before that, I had known “Diavgia” for some time, since Mr. Vardavas had been my oculist, and I had formed an excellent opinion on the great quality of the center as well as the credibility and the professionalism of Mr. Vardavas. Yes, a laser myopia surgery is a far more serious thing than an eye examination. Yet, my overall experience from the procedure confirmed once more my excellent opinion of the center. During the operation, I was not troubled at all in any way while the procedure itself was short in duration and all the necessary precautions (surgical dressing, sterile environment, use of sophisticated equipment, etc.) were taken into account. What impressed me, though, was how swift and easy my recovery was. Just a few hours after the surgery, I was able to read my emails on my computer while on the next day, I was able to drive on my own to the center for the standard post-operational check up. In addition, the post-surgical services of the center were truly excellent, with the provision of regular eye check ups as well as the needed instructions for quick rehabilitation. Today, two years after the procedure, my vision is still impeccable even though I know well that in many cases, myopia might return to a lesser degree. For nearly a decade, Ι' ve been a client of Diavgia Opthalmology Center. The reason behind my acquaintance with Mr. Vardavas can be found in my myopia -I had seven degrees and I was looking for a good oculist who could monitor the progress of my condition and help me to deal with it by prescribing the correct vision glasses and contact lenses.
